This place was listed as one of the best BKT place in Singapore.  Came here to try. Not bad but I don't think it is that good either.

Celebrity English Chef Jamie Oliver's Jamie's Italian opened in Singapore Vivo City on 17 July 2013.  Good and inexpensive food with nice & casual ambiance make it very popular.

Found this place from Internet. Got here around 8.45am, not many people in it.

After we placed our order and sat down, people just streamed in. Mostly are Ang Mo, don't know from where. Nothing that fantastic but a casual relaxing place for Ang Mo breakfast.

Made a reservation in the afternoon, got here early before 6.30pm. Whole place was empty. We were led by a Filipino waiter to a table in the middle of one long stretch of tables. I asked if we could sit at a corner table. He refused but could not give me a good reason. After hearing our conversation, the Captain told us we may if we wished.

The same Filipino waiter came to take order. I asked for their signature dish, Crudo Di Pesce. The waiter told me they didn't have it that day. So I asked when, he just say no, no, no, until I asked him to call the manager to talk to me. Manager explained that the dish consists of many different types of seafood that may not be available everyday...bla bla bla. Ok, at least it sounded logical.

Don QuiJote @ Dampsey 20.07.13 Dinner

We took a Taxi to Dampsey Hill block 10, We wanted to walk around before we decided what to eat. We remembered we saw a Thai restaurant Tawandang on the way to block 10.   We asked a waiter of Don Quijote for direction. He told us it was very far. So we sat down at Don Quijote. And it turned out to be quite a nice ambience, , tapas and drinks. 

Mellben Seafood 19.07.2013 Dinner

After Jessie's recommendation, Ian's wife Sami wanted  to try Mellben's Crab Bee Hoon. Jessie was in Australia but through What's App, she advised us to go to Mellben's Toa Payoh Branch as it was supposed to be less crowded. 

It was true there was no crowd.  It was closed for renovation.

We then drove up to AMK. By the time we arrived, it was already 9+pm. 

However, we still have to queue for a table and waited for food for an hour.

Sami loved it very much, she finished all the crabs and dried up the soup.
